Saturday 3^rd= May

A small group of garden= ers will be in school this coming Saturday morning to do more work on our new garden. We are looking for a few people to come along and dig or lay bricks from 7.30 to 11.30am. If you want to join us you are welcome. Thank you for= all the bricks which you have brought into school for our garden. If you have a= ny to spare please pop them over the fence of the garden or see Mr Johnson. Thank= you for your support.

Broomhill Festival 5-a-= side Football Tournament

Entry forms are available from the school office f= or this year’s 5-a-side Football Tournament. The Tournament is on Sunday= 15^th June at the University pitches opposite Weston Park Hospital. Closing date = for entry forms is 19^th May 2008.

Class Photographs<= /o:p>

The school photographer will be in school on Thursday 8^th May to take class photographs.= The photographs will be available to purchase a few weeks later.

Bank Holiday=

Don’t forget next Monday 5^th May is a Bank Holiday. See you back in school on Tues= day 6^th May.

Blue Peter Disc Appeal=

Thank you for all the CDs and DVDs you sent in for= the Blue Peter Appeal. We collected 131 discs which have been given to Dr Barna= rdo’s to sell and raise funds.

Gymnastics

As next Monday is Bank Holiday there will be no Gymnastics after school on Monday. Christy is happy for any of the Monday g= roup to join the Tuesday group.

Rainbows

Wednesday 7^th May is the 21^st anniversary of the Rainbows so we will be celebrating with Rainbows in our school on that special day. Anyone who is a Rainbow is invited to wear their uniform next Wednesday when we will have a special assembly for the whole school to learn more about Rainbows.

Have Your Say Over Broomhill Library

Sheffield City Council’s Broomhill, Central = and Nether Edge Area Panel and Sheffield Libraries are hosting a public meeting about the proposed relocation of Broomhill Library to the former FABLE buil= ding on Ashgate Road. The meeting will be held in St Mark’s Church, Broomh= ill, at 7.30pm on Tuesday 6^th May. The venue will be open from 7.00pm= for viewing of the pre-application plans for the FABLE building. Council office= rs from the Planning and Library services will be there to speak to residents.= For further information tel. 273 6421.

Just a reminder about the Pampered Chef cooking demonstration tonight (Thursday) at school at 7.30pm – come along and bring family and friends for an enjoyable evening and to help raise money f= or the PTA.
