School Garden=

We have counted the mon= ey raised at our Eco Fair and we are very pleased to announce that we made £520. We are thrilled by this amount, this will really help us fund m= any of the projects for our garden.

We forgot to mention in last week’s newsletter that we are very grateful to Ivywood Building = and Plastering Services who gave up a day of their time to do much of the heavy work in the garden during our last Gardening Weekend. Thank you.=

Our next gardening day in school will be Saturday = 19^th April – come along and join in the fun, it’s a day for the whole family – everyone invited.

There are more photos on display in the hall – these were taken by some of the children using disposable cameras which show the gardening weekend from a child’s perspective.

Reception Trip Next Ter= m

Our Reception classes will be visiting Whirlow Hall Farm on the following days:

Year 1 Trip Next Term

Our Year 1 children are pond dipping next term in Wire Mill Dam on Monday 21^st April. More details to follow nearer the time. Parent helpers will be needed.

Spare Clothes in School=

If you have any clothes that your children have now grown out of we would be grateful to have them = in school. We are particularly short of trousers for boys and girls. Thank you= .

Pampered Chef Evening – A Date for your Diaries

The PTA are supporting a ‘Pampered Chef̵= 7; evening on Thursday 1^st May at 7.30pm to be held in the school h= all. ‘Pampered Chef’ is a novel range of kitchen equipment, includin= g a wide range of stone cookware. Why not come along to see some inspirational recipes being prepared, sample the finished products and raise some funds f= or the school at the same time? Refreshments will be available.

Watch out for further details after the Easter holidays. For further information contact Sylvia (Hannah’s Mum, Class= 7) or Amanda (Jasmine’s Mum, Class 7).

Payment for School Dinn= ers

The price for school dinners is £1.65 per day (£8.25 per week). If you wish to pay half-termly the cost for the next half term is £56.10 (34 days). Cheques should be made payable to Sheffield City Council. Thank you.
